The Preserve Homes for Sale
The Preserve, which is also known as the Preserve at Laurel Lake, is a neighborhood in Lake City, Florida. This community is located on Rosemary Drive. The Preserve is home to approximately 150 families.
What makes the Preserve a lovely place in which to live is that it’s the only amenity-based community within 10 adjacent counties. The neighborhood clubhouse is a nice place for hanging out with friends and family members. There, you’ll find a pool, a splash pad, a playground, and a fire pit. You can also check out the tennis, beach volleyball, and basketball courts, too. If you like hiking, then you’ll love to know that this neighborhood has more than 3.5 miles of trails and sidewalks. The trails run through nearby forests, giving you an opportunity to view the lake and many species of wildlife. Every year during springtime, residents participate in the Family Spring Festival. This fun event features a fishing contest, bounce houses, and kayak races. If you happen to own a boat or recreational vehicle, you can park it in the community’s convenient gated boat/recreation vehicle parking space so that it doesn’t crowd your property. When you want a break from the neighborhood, you can travel to Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park. This Civil War site lets you explore, hike, and even walk your pets. There is one elementary school in the Preserve area.
